Individual: An individual applying on behalf of him or her self (e.g.: A homeowner applying for a permit for their home). You can create one or more organization accounts through your individual account using the same email address.

An employee of an organization must create an individual account first and then this individual account will be linked to the organization account using that same email address.

Organization: One account that represents a company or an organization. Organizations can manage their own employee accounts. Employees can then act on behalf of the company. All those who are associated with the organization account will have access to permit and application records.
